Described as possibly the best environmental library in the region, publications include wide ranging information on: natural history, birds, native plants and trees, coral reefs, marine life, the environment, endangered species, ecology, pollution, and much more.

Library User Guidelines
Who Can Use the Library?
Anyone! The Trust Library is open to students, teachers, Trust members, and the general public free of charge.
Primary and Secondary School Teachers and College Lecturers
In order to assist your students better, we ask you to advise us if your students might be using our library for special research projects. This helps us plan and be more efficient when students arrive.
College of the Bahamas students, lecturers and Ministry of Education personnel are encouraged to make an appointment to use the research library. By making an appointment, you are assured that an education officer will be present to orient you to the library system and resources.
Can You Check out Materials?
No, the Trust's facility is a Reference Library, meaning that all material MUST be used on site.
Video Library
A fast-growing segment of the Library, our Video Library contains material on the rainforest, marine life, the environment, conservation, wildlife and resource management, and much more! Video rental is $5.00. A $10.00 deposit is also taken for each video rented from the library. Videos may be kept for a maximum of four days unless otherwise arranged.
Photocopying policy:
Only maps, graphs and illustrations can be photocopied. The charge for photocopying is $0.25 (8½" x 11" and 8½" x 14" page), and $1.00 (11" x 17" page).
